As the owner of Orderly Endeavors, my passion behind my business is more than just picking out a pretty paint color. It is about creating a space that allows you to feel your best. A home you want to come home to. A home that makes you want to sit back and enjoy all those special moments.

It might only be the first week of November and still 80 degrees down South, but now that Halloween is over, I’ve started to decorate our home for Christmas. You’ve Got Mail was turned on (the epitome of the perfect fall movie) and I kicked it into high gear. With two littles at home, I strive to make things as festive as possible, sprinkling little parts of Christmas everywhere.
As much as I love the idea of a real tree we are a faux Christmas tree household and for our main tree, I went with the 7.5-foot Yorkshire Christmas Tree from King of Christmas. It’s pre-lit with the most perfect soft, warm lights.
If you haven’t shopped the artificial trees from King of Christmas yet, they have some of my all-time favorite trees and are ones I always recommend to family, friends, and clients.
The Yorkshire Fir tree is easy to assemble, and you can’t go wrong with the price with how high-quality the trees are. When you order a tree from King of Christmas, it also comes with a metal tree stand, an off-season storage bag (so convenient!), and protective gloves to make it easy to shape your tree.
In our primary bedroom, we added an additional new tree. (Both mine from last year but the dust). This under $200 pre-lit tree from Walmart may or may not be my favorite. It’s easy to set up, has dainty lights for the perfect amount of glow, and leaves no mess setting up thanks to the (mostly) rubber branches. See my full review of the tree here!
For both trees, I used a mix of ornaments and decor we already owned but I also picked up these ornaments from Hobby Lobby. To give both trees some dimension and to incorporate some unexpected elements, I also added in these frosted balls, these frosted crabapples, these berries, and these gold magnolia leaves.
Even though both trees are mostly decorated, I still have a few finishing touches to put on them, our mantels, and other small areas of our home, and can’t wait to share the final product with you!
