Adding Cozy to my Home, One Room at a Time

We bought our house in 2018, did a total gut, and moved in mid 2019 – You know what that means, we were at the peak of the all white, black, and grey era.

The longer we have lived in this house the more I have felt the need to liven the space with warm tones, moody wall colors, and eclectic decor.

Our guest bath before: Sea Salt paint color, white vanity, printed pattern floor (that yes, I do regret), and black hardware. I did have a black mirror at one point but it fell and that’s what kick started this makeover.

For under $250 I was able to warm this space and bring it to life!

If you know me – you know I love green. (I also recently read that the queen herself, Mrs. Gaines favorite color is green and she implements it in almost every room somehow. So needless to say, it’s a good choice!) Anyway – we went with At Ease Soldier by Sherwin Williams. It’s a true deep green, no blue tint, no grey, just a standard army green without an overpowering feel.

This bathroom is the smallest bathroom known to man (can almost wash your hands while sitting on the toilet) hence the difficult camera angles. To get a better view of this room, check out my latest Tik Tok & Reel highlighting this bathroom!
