Fall is officially here and one of my favorite decor elements to incorporate into any space is faux stems. They’re an easy way to add fall colors and textures without spending much money. But not all faux stems are created equally! There are so many options out there that are affordable, making them enticing to purchase, but they might look… well, fake.
To avoid that “fake” look with your faux stems, it’s all about doing a little research and shopping in person if you can.
Over the years as a decorator, and decorating my own home, I’ve utilized a lot of faux stems. If finding the right faux stems for your home can be overwhelming, this guide will help you pick the right ones. I’m breaking down where to shop, what to look for, plus my favorite faux stems to incorporate into your home for fall.
There are countless places to shop for faux stems but I’ve found the following retailers to have the best options.
Shopping for faux stems this fall? Here are some of my favorite options!
Fern stems are my favorite for adding some greenery to any arrangement. You can purchase them individually, too, making it easier to get what you need. The color of these ones varies slightly to give a more natural appearance.
For lush greenery, I can’t recommend these stems enough! They are so full and depending on the size of your vase, you’ll most likely only need one or two bushes.
To really incorporate fall tones into your home, consider these stems! The orange and yellow tones are so pretty and do a great job warming up your home. These come as a set of six; split them up or place them in a vase together.
For that easy, light, and airy faux greenery mixture, these are the branches you’ll want. They’re delicate but still full. I love mixing these with faux grass and bunny tail for a low-cost aesthetically pleasing arrangement.
Faux ficus branches are the ultimate faux greenery. Your guests will be shocked to know these are real, they’re that good! This set comes with five pieces and they’re on the taller side.
If you don’t have a green thumb or just want to add some texture to your space without the responsibility of real branches, faux greenery is the way to go!
